Shall I take a gamble?

I went to shop for hard drives in Cheltenham as I am getting paranoid about backing-up all my photos and other things. Several clients have had hard drive failures recently, losing everything, as they hadn't any back-ups. I want duplicate back-ups, so am now well-prepared.

I went home a different, pretty and scenic route via Gloucester, to get some more fresh tofu. The manager of the Yip Shing oriental food store saw me taking a couple of pictures in their premises. We often chat about this and that including food and travel in Asia. I gave him the link to Blipfoto so that he might see why I was taking photographs.

I liked their stacks of varied sizes of woks and also the varieties of tofu. I also use photographs as reminders, and took photos of dried honeysuckle (probably for use as a tea), dehydrated water cress, a range of rice noodles packets, dried bergamot (I think), piles of fresh green and red thai chillies and really fresh root ginger.

But I had not seen Ching Po Leung Soup Stuff before. I liked the logo, but had no idea what the ingredients are. Next time I will ask them about it and probably try some. It is a very friendly shop.

Last time I visited, a local chinese restaurant owner, who was buying his supplies, told me how to cook Mooli, a variety of East Asian giant radish daikon, and it has been a wonderful discovery. So I expect I will cook tofu tomorrow and I have an idea for how to blip my Steve's tofu special, as Helena calls my take on this south-east asian delight.

On the way home, I went to Haresfield Beacon and saw the sun setting over the River Svern and the Forest of Dean. The light was magnificent and my pictures there were very vivid. But having done skies, sun and landscapes recently, I wanted to blip this pack shot, and even though it is less 'stunning', it is still very interesting to me.
