Couldn't Make It To Midnight

This is the first time in a while I couldn't keep Landon awake on his brother's birthday to watch the ball drop and ring in the new year. I was chatting with people at the celebration and he came and curled up on my lap and went to sleep. It's sad because just 2 days ago he excitedly helped us pick out the party poppers that he always likes to play with. I kept moving him around, saying "Don't you want to wake up just to set off the poppers and say 'Happy New Year'?" I got a mumbled "Yeah" and then a snore right after that. So I placed him in bed, saved his poppers for the next day, and kissed his sleeping little face goodnight. After I said goodnight to the boys in their sleeping bags in the living room, I walked back into Liam and Landon's room to say goodnight to Liam as well. There Levi was, one paw under Landon's neck, and one on top of his neck and he was sleeping cheek-to-cheek with Landon. Levi started to open his eyes when I snapped this picture. He sure loves to cuddle with the boys when they are sleeping at night.

This morning when the boys from the sleepover woke up...Gary made them a yummy breakfast of pancakes. That was per Loren's BD breakfast request. After breakfast, moms and dads collected their kiddos and then all that was left was our family. We stayed home most of the day and recuped with the exception of a trip to Game Stop in my slippers! Loren bought games with gift money for his new system. Liam came home and tried out the pogo stick for the first time that Santa had brought him. He was a natural....bounced around all over the place. I think Santa was clued into the perfect gift for him.
