Bad news: - Widespread abuse
There really isn't any excuse for using children in factories to build and manufacture goods. Repetitive motion injuries in small children can have devastating and maiming effects on them in adulthood. This list is rather alarming, not leaving out much in the line of goods that we in the west purchase, and perpetuate their suffering in the process. Sickening.

Good news: - They need all the help they can get
Having seen the ravages of alcoholism up close, this is very good news. Would I rather an alcoholic abandon all booze and stop the damage to his or her liver fully? Yes, but if quitting cold turkey is what stops alcoholics from even trying, this could be the answer. Of course, the side effects aren't fully known and one would hope the proper research is done before the pill is pushed on the market.
