One, two, three...aaah. Dailykeith shows his softer side!

Actually, it should be one, two, three..aaarrgh. Adjusting the focus on my compact is really difficult in poor light and I've had to sharpen this like crazy.

I thought the final result was just about ok to post, but it's a close run thing. Hmmmm.

My Friday shift always starts early, so I reward myself for getting up at the crack of dawn by getting a cappuccino on the way in.

I think it was a good job I had a caffeine shot early on because the rest of the day was quite trying.

However, I'm surrounded by a bunch of great people on my bank of desks, so we had a laugh as we navigated choppy waters - finally reaching port 20 minutes over deadline.

There was one more frustration in store after returning home. When I checked my library book on Wednesday on the web I deliberately didn't renew it because I was a few days too early.

I checked it again online tonight and I now can't renew it because someone else has reserved it.

And I can't take it back until next week. So I'll be fined.

I know it's a piddling thing to some, but any sort of fine leaves me hanging my head in shame. I'll never be the same person again.
