technology...bah humbug!

Silence from me on here for a while as, as you can see, my camera is playing up giving me striations and dodgy exposures. It was fine over the holiday but since coming back through the Xray at the airport.....but that shouldn't make any difference as it has been through may times.

Anyway, happy new year one and all, and this image sort of summed up the new year feeling. A couple of days before the night sky had been filled with thousands of these paper lanterns, making the sky as if illuminated by fireflies. Now in the harsh reality of day, how sad such a lantern looks. Any resemblence to a spent condom (sorry about lowering the tone!) can only be appropriate.
