Winter Afternoon

Oh sooo nice it is Friday :) My first week back at work has been fine...good to be back, BUT it is still lovely with the weekend!

I was able to leave a little early today and luckily I had my camera with me - there was a low fog over the lake and it was magical. I ended up with quite a few good photos but not as good as I had hoped for...although the light was wonderful it was also very diffuse and the photos lack clarity....still I had a great time hurrying, trying to get the perfect shot before the sun went down. People there thought I was nuts...everyone was bundled up in outdoor clothing and I was wandering around/sitting in the snow in my skirt and heeled boots :) I thought my fingers were going to fall off they were so cold!

Cozy evening here.....my youngest son and I have been doing a crossword puzzle together while D. is snowboarding with some friends and now it time for the film Alice in Wonderland. I love weekends!
