Goodbye Mr Evans

Today I've been to the funeral of a lovely, lovely man.

He was a head teacher who really cared about children.

I only found out at the service today that he wanted the children to have a positive experience of school as his own school days weren't particularly happy.

He was also an accomplished horse trainer and breeder and again I only found out today that his horses sold around Europe.

He has left many people, especially children who have been in his care, with many happy memories.
