100 Years old today

I was invited to photograph a 100 year old lady with her family today....a very rare honour. This is the birthday cake, relatively simple and at this stage no candles. I wonder if the family later added candles?
I thought the lady very gracious, surrounded by a large loving family although a little bemused. I wish I could have spoken with her but her health seemed to prevent conversation. I managed to see a small smile when a grandson took her hand.
