Art
Today we were downtown and thought we'd just "pop in" to the Seattle Art Museum to see the Picasso show one more time (sans kids) before it leaves next week. Well,we forgot it was "first thursday" = free. So it was crawling with people and we opted to come back a different day. But I snapped this lobby from the 2nd floor with my iphone - have never seen a line this long at noon. The exploding cars are a piece by Cai Gua-Qiang called "Inopportune Stage One" 2004. A permanent installation for the newly remodeled museum. Kind of reminds me of some post 911 disaster, makes me squirm. The lights blink on and off. Our grandkids like it a lot.
