I only recently discovered Truman Capote. I'm in awe of his style. I first picked up Portraits and Observations: The Essays of Truman Capote at Barnes & Noble bookstore. I really wanted to start with those essays, but when I went to our local library to see about checking it out, I found they only had In Cold Blood. I want to read, it, too, but I'm a big scaredy-cat. I think I may be too scared to read it at night. Anyway, I requested a copy of Portraits and Observations from a library across town, and should have a copy in my hands sometime in the next few days.

I want to get all the reading in that I can before I start the spring semester on the 18th.
