Winter repairs

The snow before Christmas pulled down a lot of local guttering. Thankfully our flat kept its but all the colony houses across the street have lost thiers and there's scaffolding popping up in various places. This flat seemed to just be having its guttering cleared and a few slates replaced so they used this nifty crane thing.

Starting to get excited about our holiday. We've luckily timed it for a new to quarter moon so our chances of seeing the Northern lights will be increased and in a week we should be getting all our tickets and info through! On the downside, my new snow jacket that should have been delivered today is caught up in the snow/Christmas backlog.
