Jasper!

Elizabeth gets so excited when she sees the cat. He's so good for sitting still long enough to let her pet him.

Elizabeth is changing all the time. I've noticed how much more focused she seems to be these days, especially when playing. She is doing a lot of taking things out of a box and putting them somewhere else, and then putting them back in the original box.

I'm pretty sure she's close to saying a few words. We still think she says 'Jasper'. Tonight we think she said 'Daddy' when Jeff came in. She certainly knows who we are. When we say "where's mummy/daddy" she always looks at the right person.

The other day she was copying us too. She was saying 'da, da, da' and when we said 'ma, ma, ma' she changed to that too.

She's so close to walking too. She's stood on her own a few times now, not for long, but it's getting there. She's much more confident when running around with her walker, her shopping trolly and when cruising the furniture and walls. My mum was really hoping she would do it while we were up in Scotland. Maybe by her birthday...
