At the table
I hate it when things don't go as planned.
Got a free ticket to see a movie tonight. They say to try to arrive as close to 20:15 as possible to participate in the pre-film festivities (i.e free beer and cheese). However, I arrived much earlier than that as I couldn't see the point in going home only to have to turn around again.
So the plan was to arrive early, grab a bite from the cafe bar and sit and read a book until the free beer started flowing.
I forgot to grab a book on my way out the door
They were out of soup
They didn't have any paninis left
I didn't feel much like paying 2.00+ for something called Bombay mix
So instead I had a chocolate cookie, a glass of water and sat and read The Skinny in a dark corner trying not to feel too ostriacized by the world.
It wasn't all that bad really. Then they placed this flower on my table. Did I mention I was in a dark corner?
What I really wanted to take a photo of was the ticket table in the foyer with its bright flashy lights and happy people. But I was afraid. I seriously need to get over this stupid fear. Why do I automatically assume I won't be allowed to take a photo? I need to develop some cheek I think.
Still, it's a nice flower, even if it is a bit too dark.
