the swan attacks

I went to take photos of my favorite black swans who are now nesting which means they have eggs. I never get near the nest but this Daddy came at me immediately and jumped me. The excitement was great, I got pecked and shoved and he felt safer. A friend took some photos of the attack. look closely and see the small white area directly behind his neck that is the space made by his wings that were raised for a fight. Glad they are clipped so he couldn't fly at me. see the attack
