Boulders Beach

Decided to rent a car for a few days, and after having to phone my bank to ask the fraud department to unblock my card, the payment finally went through, and we drove here to see the penguins.

In the morning my mum saw the lifeguard team try to rescue a drowning man on Fish Hoek beach. They were very efficient, but alas, despite paddling out in canoes, pulling him out of the waves, giving mouth to mouth, calling an ambulance and a helicopter, it seems the poor guy was beyond rescuing.
