Christmas Tree No.6

The festive foliage blips that I was doing before Christmas terminated rather abruptly when we were snowed in and therefore unable to visit any further trees for blip or any other purposes!

However, Scharwenka has kept his tree up until today - there has, apparently been a little debate in his house about exactly when the tree and other decorations should be taken down - I believe today to be the last day for decorations, but, since we haven't actually put any decorations UP in our house, any talk of taking them DOWN again is purely academic!

Today was another successful day. A bit of admin this morning, visiting Scharwenka for lunch, exchanging our last few Christmas presents, arranging our Christmas dinner (postponed owing to weather before Christmas), then I came back, via a walk in town and a few jobs.

The walk was not as easy as it used to be - being 5 stone overweight is not great for backs, but I know it will get easier if I persist. The Wonderspouse is making stew and dumplings tonight, but I'm told that the dumplings will be rationed and the stew will have extra vegetables in!

Persistence is the only way!
