Winter sun

At last a sunny day - I took my lunch and sat in Princes Street Gardens - very cold but enjoyable.

St Cuthbert's church is on my way. Interesting to note that the sundial dated 1771 I think, seemed to be showing an hour ahead.

To me, this picture somehow has a French air to it, or maybe that's just wistful thinking.
