One of my favourite films...

Spent much of the afternoon watching 'Surrogates', one of my favourite films. It's a Bruce Willis film, which should have done much better than it did - because the ideas behind it are really, really interesting. In a world where almost everyone lives through artificial, synthetic perfect surrogates, where does the real world begin and the synthetic one end? If you could, would you? Could you do without real human contact and interaction if you could live in a perfect world? I won't spoil the plot, and to a large extent there is a surface storyline and a mystery to be solved. But it's the deeper questions the film hints at that I'm interested in. I like it very much and as it was a birthday present from my daughter, I am highly delighted!
