Time for a wee walk to work off the christmas excess. Up Easter Road and Abbeyhill and onto the Royal Mile,down the Mound and into the gardens back into the Grassmarket and a stop at the canal. Cant help thinking all these new buildings look a bit bland,they look better in the reflection.
Anyway left the peace and quite of the canal for Tynecastle and the derby match where goodwill and seasons greetings went out the window for 90 mins, a great way to spend Boxing Day,(depending on result of course).
After a couple of beers time to get walking back home again, doesn't seem to be many buses running. Took some pictures of the Ferris wheel and surrounds but not to happy with them. Need to try more night time shots they never seem to turn out that good.
