That's it, Christmas is officially over, the tree came down tonight, and the cards, and all the odds and sods of left over chocolate and sweeties went into a bowl. The left over wine, vodka etc is sitting on the sideboard. The only thing left are the outside lights, because it's dark and persisting down and even I'm not daft enough to go up a ladder in those conditions.

Statistically , of course its only 6 months to Christmas or about 25 weeks, so that's something to look forward too.

On the work front I'm really pleased that the Government have moved the goal posts again, so just after we prove that with mega hard work and effort you can get good results out of kids from "deprived" backgrounds, they shift the measurement for success and say "Oh no you can't".

For those of you who don't recognise it that was sarcasm, I'm pretty good at that.

Tonight's football results were outstanding, especially for United fans and I'm sorry hebs but that Loserpool result is just hilarious, especially the missed penalty!
