Life with The Pinks

Hiding

Master Pink is very much on the mend. This is where I found him after I had washed up the chocolate brownie making things.

He spent the day in his pyjamas, watched telly, played on the computer, cut up a piece of paper into hundreds of bits, made chocolate brownies (or our variation of them), "went to bed" in the cushions of the sofa, and ate three full meals. But to be on the safe side we are having a trial run day tomorrow. Getting up at school time, getting dressed and doing jobs out and about. We'll see by the end of a day of doing stuff if he has got his energy back enough for a day of school.

Meanwhile, Miss Pink has been sitting in her buggy, like it's a favourite piece of furniture, taking pegs out of the peg bag and arranging them on the kitchen table. Pulling her bunchies out of her hair. Playing the "bye bye" game with the aliens in the space rocket (she says bye bye lots, and the aliens go in and out of the rocket). Feeding Baby. She has said "ding dong", sauce and juice, and ran to meet Daddy at the door when he came home.

and I've been trying to correct a "two weeks of school holidays and Christmas" mess.
