Roots and Wings

Strange night tonight - all three girls are out.

I am trying to make myself eat a bit better - so my original blip was a picture of my tea - to show that I am actually eating something and that hopefully one day soon I won't associate making a meal with sitting down every night and eating with my ex...but the photo looked pretty disgusting - Stilton is not photographic! (at least not when I take it!)

So was looking for some inspiration and saw the little heart plant that I repotted in a tea cup ( tea cups being one of my current obsessions)

..and I got to thinking about last January before things changed so much - when I started my old blipfoto diary.

I was really proud of my first entry...a picture of all three girls together (very rare!) The entry for 17th Jan 2010 was...

I love my little ladies and hope I am giving them roots to a loving home and wings to soar above everything, and fly farther than I ever did.

I can add to that now - that they all turn into strong, independant women!

So tonight - the little heart with big roots represents me here - and even though are away tonight - I'm still thinking about them and can't wait to get them back tomorrow :)
