School and scones

The girls returned to school this morning: Noah and I returned home in cold and miserable weather to prepare for a visit from Layla and Bella. Soup sorted, I decided to get the griddle out again and try griddle scones. So simple and a definite winner. Will be made again soon I think.
We had a lovely day with the visiting girls and I think the Bell girls are glad to be back to school - back to normal. Me too.
Oh, just remembered what this picture is. Rohan made me a selection of pots and dishes to keep precious things in. Just briefly though as she used play doh.
