And he's reading a book! Today's anxiety: in light of the great expense laid out for our new, truly delightful and extraordinary plasma TV: that familiar feeling of awe mixed with nausea... but more accurately, of life being out of control, reality on the wonk. Every screen/computer/iphone/ipad purchased and brought into the home takes the boys and I a step further away from any hope of a deeper sense of fulfilment. These clever gadgets diminish our creative potential by a measurable amount, disconnect us from ourselves and one another, entertain us perfectly and thin our souls. Stop this train, I want to get off :-(
