Argh! Shark!

Today we visited the Natal Sharks Board. They're responsible for checking the shark nets, freeing any live ones caught and logging any deaths. It was a fasinating place and we got to watch a disection of a shark. That large lobe in the picture is part of its liver. Thier livers weigh up to 25% of their total body weight. This shark had eaten a smaller shark and it was still undigested in the stomach!
