Lemons!
Today was the start of our adventures in South Africa. The Boy's family live out there and we'd been invited for a 3 week visit. We had a long over night flight. It was my first ever long haul flight and shortly outside Edinburgh we hit bad turbulence, well that was it, I wanted off that plane.
Arriving in South Africa we headed in to Johanesburg and had a day to relax and aclimatise. I was amazed, it was so warm but with the air being so dry it didn't feel as uncomfortable as the hot clamy days we get in Britian.
Relaxing in the garden I was intrigued by the little lizards that darted around and basked in the sun but the highlight of the day was seeing the size of the lemons growing in their garden, they were the size of your hand.
