Raindrops

Horrible weather again today in Wiltshire - this time it's rainy and although it's above 0, it's still chilly! I didn't fancy heading out with the camera in the rain so thought I would have a play at trying to photograph through the rain drops on the window pane. I tried out the macro lens, but preferred the quality of image shot by the 50mm prime lens (like this one). I just felt they were more atmospheric. Had to underexpose by about 1 stop to avoid blown out highlights.
Not really sure what to make of it - think it needs a bit more playing and patience to snap some slower driving cars to get nicer lens flares off their headlights.
