Ladies who lunch

100th Blip! I was hoping to manage one a day, but it has been a rather hectic end of year what with work, flu, Christmas and travelling.

Elizabeth and I met up with my old friends Catherine and Margaret for lunch.

Elizabeth was delightful! She got compliments about being 'As bright as a button' and one man said they usually burst into tears when the see him. She was full of smiles and chatting away. When she started to get a wee bit frustrated waiting for food, she read her book. It's one where there are flaps to open inside. Well, there was one page where she just wouldn't open the flaps at all. Catherine and Margaret were dying to know what was behind the flap!
