This has nothing to do with today

But I thought I'd picture it anyway. It's my bedside lamp. Pretty, yes? It's from IKEA.

Today was spent with my family all around trying to do some network cable thingamies and was mainly had the men in the loft and the women in the kitchen doing cooking, cleaning and all the stereotypical woman activities you can think of.

Husband managed to slice through his jeans and a good centimetre down into his thigh with the stanley knife. It was ok though, I put a Winnie the Pooh (actually...it was a Piglet) plaster on it, and that sorted it right out.

Injuries aside, I think they did what they wanted. All I really know is that there are more holes, the router is not hanging from the wall and I can close the living room door. This pleases me.
