Giant Birthday Cupcake

Heading back to St. Andies tomorrow for the exam period YAAAAAAAAAY! So seeing as I wasn't going to be there for mum's birthday in a couple of days, I, as the resident (very) amateur baker, wanted to make mum a birthday cake today. TSP's parents gave me an amazing silicon giant cupcake mould for Xmas which I used for the first time. Baking + silicon = really well turned out, no more of this sticking to the sides of the base and resulting in your cake falling apart. It came out perfectly formed from the moulds. Ok, so maybe my presentation has to be worked on a little, but I think it turned out pretty well for a first attempt!
