Love birds - (I'm all wrapped up)

Melody managed to carry this yard long present here on the plane. I love it, and I love that it made her think of me when she looked at it.

It is a fair trade item from Haiti.

This photo does not do justice to the intricate and beautiful carving which has been done on what was once an oil drum.

While waiting for Mel to arrive, Crystal and Marya made a lot of peace cranes and generally filled the house with giggles.

I've just put things on this window ledge momentarily, until I can find just the perfect place for them. We are really enjoying having the girls here for the holidays, and are treasuring the time.

I'm pretty much happily wrapped up in family right now, I'd say.
