This is the case my mother packed for her journey half way around the world from Bombay, India to Liverpool England in 1948 on the good ship Ormun; a journey that took two months. The suitcase was bought in 1943 in Isphahan and accompanied my mother and my grandmother across to India, carrying all their worldly possessions
It's now time for her next big adventure!
