Stairway to heaven

Today's the day ........................... to go back to work

It was hard going today trying to pick up the threads of work left nearly three weeks ago. It was nice to see everyone again though - and most people were quite glad to be back in a normal routine again. The trouble with me was that we had had such a lovely time that I was quite in the routine of not working.

It was a busy day too with lots to do. So when it was time to go home, I heaved a sigh of relief and set off to walk home. This is the lovely welcoming sight of the steps up to my front door where I knew there would be a fire burning and hopefully, something nice for tea ................
