Not much sign of VAT increase frugality in Edinburgh today, though the returns queue at John Lewis was certainly doing brisk trade.

I'm just about down to my last two gift vouchers having bought a North Face fleece to match my other North Face fleece. Now at least I have something to wear when it's laundry time instead of skulking round the kitchen watching the washing machine timer count down.

Tomorrow the family go back to their works and I have set myself a target of learning Act 1 Scene 1 of my play, with Thursday as either extra time if it's too hard, or bonus photography time as a reward if I manage.
