A Flower called....

I've been watering and talking to this plant with a long thin stem for almost a year now. I was almost at the point of throwing it out when suddenly buds started appearing.
I'm stuck indoors today waiting for workmen to appear sometime between 10.00 and 15.00.........hence the indoor photo.
