She likes her new blanky

I've seen doll-like little girls before but this grand niece takes the cake. At two, she has a mop of curls, a big personality and some batting eyelashes that reduce the adults to mere pudding. Her almost five year old brother is no match for her; she smacks him right back instead of running to mom and crying. Watch out world; a strong woman is in the making.

It was gloriously warm and sunny, melting that foot of snow more rapidly than I've ever seen snow melt.

New Years eve at niece's house; oh lordy. They know how to rock the neighborhood. Instead of driving back to sister-in-law's house, we stayed up till 4:00 am, played games and slept over.
