All Hope Is Lost

This is the Hope An Anchor pub in Ross On Wye.
This is where we went for a quick lunch with the family today, to round of Christmas.
It was booked for 1pm. We were warned there could be a bit of a delay as it was a bit busy, about half an hour.
They were wrong by 60 minutes! One and a half hours for the starters to arrive! And then amazingly another 35 minutes for the mains to arrive after they cleared the tables. And then it took 15 minutes from the first main to arrive to the last of our table.
We left at 4 o clock. 3 hours for prawn cocktail and a chilli rice and chips. That's going to take some beating in 2011!
It doesn't come recommended!
