frozen canal

So, this afternoon Mrs BH and I went for a lovely if bracing walk along the canal from Salwarpe. We knew it was a little chilly, but we were very surprised to find that the canal was frozen. Completely frozen. Absolutely frozen. Frozen. Brrr.

We lasted about an hour and a half, and Mrs BH didn't even have a hat or gloves on - she's made from hardy stuff.
