Fetish

This is an Nkondi nail fetish, used as protection. It could seek out and punish wrongdoers such as those using occult means to cause sickness or persons who broke treaties or swore false oaths.

It could be activated by invocation or provocation. The provocation could consist of having nails, shells, bits of cloth, herbs or other bits and pieces hammered in to it which is why these fetishes accrue an untidy appearance.

I find it a bit scary.
