....the sweets are gone, and so we face the final papers

My friends I'll say it clear, and state my case of which I'm certain


I licked the ones I liked and put back the others and the wrappers


And more much more than this, I ate them my way


Green Triangles I've had a few, well not a few, too many to mention


I did what I had to do, and ate them all without exemption


I scoffed each chosen choc, each perfect gem and never faltered


And more much more than this, I ate them MY WAY!
