Our new arrivals!

Our friends were looking for a home for their two wee bantams and knew that we kept hens and so, a few days later, they arrived.

They are a little shy with the other, much bigger hens, preferring to keep each other company at the moment.

The ground is still frozen and we need to defrost their water twice a day as the temperature still hasn't risen above freezing yet.

Bill and I had a lovely gentle day pottering around.

Out for a spin on the quad bike, spin being the operative word as Bill put the bike through its paces! skidding all over the place.

Bill loves to hear me screaming!
