The diver.

The last day of the Christmas holidays today so back to work tomorrow boooo. We decided to drive out to Southport for a walk down the pier, second longest in Britain at 3650 feet, and some shopping.
This statue of a one legged swimmer is situated on the promenade by the pier. Apparently this was a famous character who would dive off the pier for pennies many years ago. The day was dull so it was difficult to capture him in all his glory.
