So This is Christmas
Christmas Lunch 2007:
Prawn Cocktail
Tiger Prawns with a homemade Marie-Rose sauce served on a salad of torn Gem lettuce leaves, Avocado and Lime Wedges.
Roast Fore-Rib of Beef
Served with Real Gravy, Yorkshire Pudding, Goose-Fat Roasted Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts sautéed with Bacon and Caraway seeds, Honey RoastedParsnips and Carrots.
Brandy Alexander Dessert
Clotted Cream Ice Cream and a baby Meringue with a Brandy Alexander poured over it
So very much cooking but such a very lovely meal, needless to say endless amounts of beef to frozen (7.5KG rib of beef for four!), no TV today just more games at the table and, if we had one, a sing-song round the old Joanna.
As predicted I got a row when the camera came out but lasted long enough to snap the balloon animal(?) that was being crafted with much hilarity..
