Shy subject

I went for a walk from Wall Village this afternoon. Just as I parked the car my friends J and D arrived, en route for their regular walk to check a section of the Hadrian's Wall Trail. That was great because I went with them - lovely to have company.

The light was much easier to deal with this afternoon and I shot a few images. After downloading them I was not sure which one to blip. This is of one of two horses who were in their stable at the bottom of the hill below Crag House. (The alpacas were too far away for me to catch any decent image of them.) It took quite a bit of persuasion before the horse would pop his/her head out of the door.
