Hitting the Wall
I went for a walk today for the first time in ages. I guess Ii'll blame the snow and a heavy work load for not getting out, but today I realised what I'd been missing.
I love the peace and quiet and the fresh biting air of a winters walk. At one point I pulled off the road and just listened to the birds and the wind, and then, finally I even heard the snow melting! What a lovely feeling.
We (Amelie and me) were really treated on the way back when we saw two deer in the distance, just on the outside of a dense fir tree forrest. They didn't stay around long enough for a photo (and I only had my 10-20mm lens!) but it was a lovely thing to see.
So go on people - get outside!
