Dubai Mall

Children playing on the illuminated floor of Dubai Mall. We'd come here specifically to visit Waitrose and pick up some Christmas goodies - we cooked for eight on Christmas Day. The mall is enormous - you could spend weeks walking about inside it! Dubai Mall is near the Burj Khalifa - the world's tallest building which opened about a year ago. It's a pretty impressive needle like building, and I imagine that the New Year's firework display which was to take place around it would have been worth seeing.
