I've grown fond of these occasional visits to my buddy's in the west end. MJ is always there too. Last time he walked me through some holy complicated sound engineering software. He said he's been donkeying with audio equipment since the 70s. It made sense to me, as I've been messing with graphic design since before digital methods. So we could talk about how tools from very different fields worked their way along.

Nothing nearly so serious today though. He gave me some cool organic root beer to try. Then offered some of his sister-in-law's fudge, but I had to decline because holy too sweet. Poor guy couldn't give that stuff away all holidays. I borroweda Ken Burns' documentary, The War. And another thing on the 60s.
