Feast of the Epiphany

I took my camera to St Mary's Monastery, Kinnoull, in order to upload a liturgically relevant blip ... but those photos didn't come out as well as I had hoped.

Later in the day we had a family party; at one point I took a break and wandered into the darkened living room, where the Christmas tree was all lit up, looking festive. I experimented with some long exposure shots - this one is my favourite.

So rather than long journeys, the focus today is on the gifts at/of home.
