on reflection

Decided today was the day to get ourselves out into the Lakes, the ice and snow having finally disappeared. On our way to our destination of Tarn Hows we drove the length of Lake Coniston, which this morning was so still and glassy like a mirror. Tarn Hows on the other hand was frozen from shore to shore.
