Alexander II Feeling Blue

Alexander II was the Emperor of the Russian Empire and the Grand Duke of Finland in the 19th century. There's an upstanding statue of him in the Helsinki central square Senaatintori.

As part of the "Baltic City of Light" campaign the whole square and the Helsinki Cathedral are bathing in shades of blue.

Actually the Cathedral looks awesome and I'm going to blip it one day when I'm passing by with my tripod.
